Biography:
Ernest Holzberg has dedicated more than 50
years in practice to representing injured people and their
families.
A lifelong New Yorker, Mr. Holzberg is a
graduate of the City College of the City University of New York,
and he received his law degree in 1953 from the Brooklyn Law
School.
He has been qualified as an arbitrator to
assist parties in resolving disputes, and is admitted to
practice in all the New York State Courts, the US District
Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and
the Supreme Court of the United States.
Among his many achievements, Mr. Holzberg won
a landmark decision against the Toro Lawnmower Company in one of
the first "deadman switch" cases before the tachnology was
widely used. This and his many other successes in his
illustrious career have resulted not only in helping to make his
clients whole but often have had the result of leading to
changes in safety procedures and safer products that have helped
prevent others from experiencing similar tragedies.
Mr. Holzberg is a member of the Association
of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Association of the Bar of
the City of New York. |
